Siachen claims Fillies Trial Stakes

A Imran K-ridden Make My Day, Vijay Damini (PS Chouhan up) and La Clique, steered by Ryan Marshall were the early pacesetters. Siachen was nicely positioned in the middle of the pack. At the home stretch, Siachen and Eloise, ridden by B Prakash, made their move and started to pull away.

Favourite Moonlight Romance (Imran Chisty up) was struggling to find a way past the traffic ahead of her. With about 600 metres to go, Siachen, in the lead now, started to forge ahead. Moonlight Romance, meanwhile, was still stuck in the rails and by the time she found a way through, there was not enough distance left to catch up with the winner as Siachen held on to win the first classic of the season.
