Ambulance hits lorry near Udupi; 3 killed

Three persons killed and three suffered injuries in an accident between lorry and ambulance at Kotamanooru near Brahmavar in Udupi on Saturday.

The deceased are Ullas Talekar and Ashok. The identity of the third person is not known.

Ullas was a cardiac patient from karat and was being shifted to A J Hospital in Mangaluru when the accident occurred.

The ambulance driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the lorry. The ambulance has been completely damaged. The injured have been shifted to KMC, Manipal for treatment.
