The BBMP published the final draft electoral roll on Wednesday. According to the final roll, there are 88,81,066 voters in the city, including 46,32,900 male and 42,48,166 female.

During the Assembly polls in 2018, there were 87,98,335 voters in Bengaluru.

Manjunath Prasad, BBMP commissioner and election officer of Bengaluru Urban district, said, “In October 2018, we had announced the draft rolls and after corrections and taking objections we are publishing the final roll. People can register in the voters' list before the date of filing nominations to the elections.”

The total number of voters in the 18-19 age group is 67,020. The BBMP also plans awareness campaigns in colleges to increase the registration of first-time voters.

“The number of voters deleted from the list is 1,75,183. The reasons for deletion are change of address, request for removing names and cases of voters having two addresses,” he added.

The citizen can register in the voters' list on http://www.ceokarnataka.kar.nic.in
