Both the parties will give the notice for moving the adjournment motion tomorrow, sources in the Congress told PTI today. The opposition parties are likely to raise land scams that have taken place in Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB), Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), besides alleged nepotism and favouritism by Yeddyurappa in land denotifications.

The report of the Supreme Court appointed Central Empowered Committee indicting Tourism Minister G Janardhana Reddy for his alleged involvement in illegal mining is also likely to be raised by the opposition parties which have stepped up their demand for the resignation of Yeddyurappa along with three other ministers and Janardhana Reddy, his brother G Karunakara Reddy and their associate B Sriramulu, they said.

However, the sources could not say whether the party would allow Question Hour or insist on allowing the adjournment motion for discussion straight away.

Setting a collision course with the BJP Government on the start of the ten-day session on Thursday, the Opposition had staged noisy protests and pleaded with Governor H R Bhardwaj not to read out his customary address to the joint legislature session, describing it as a "bundle of lies" prepared by the Yeddyurappa Ministry.

Obliging them, the Governor did not deliver the address and said his speech had been tabled on the floor of the House and it be treated as read.
