Congress leader and MLA Satish Jarkiholi will abstain from a meeting convened by AICC General Secretary and Karnataka in-charge of the party K C Venugopal in Bengaluru on Saturday.
The meeting has been convened to sort out differences between Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) Women Wing President and MLA Laxmi Hebbalkar and Jarkiholi brothers over the appointments for the APMC and PLD bank.
"Differences of opinion with Hebbalkar are at local level. Venugopal has convened the meeting to discuss preparations for Lok Sabha elections, but not to discuss complaint of Hebbalkar," he told reporters.
One should be ready to face anything to become a leader, he remarked.
