<p>For the first time in recent past, undivided Dakshina Kannada district will be scaling record with ‘Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion’, a much anticipated Telugu film. <br /><br />On Friday, when the film releases worldwide, more than 100 shows will be screened in the coast alone, including its Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions, with multiplexes screening maximum number of shows.<br /><br />The film, starring Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Satyaraj in the lead roles, has been the talk of Indian cinema, ever since ‘Baahubali - The Beginning’ cast a spell on movie buffs with its lavish making two years ago.<br /><br />PVR Cinemas, a multiplex at Forum Fiza Mall at Pandeshwar here, will be screening highest of 24 shows starting from 8 am. As anticipated, the response has been encouraging with most of the tickets booked in advance, said a staff over phone.<br /><br />While majority shows will be screening original Telugu version, remaining will be Hindi and Tamil versions, the staff added.<br /><br />Bharath Cinemas at Bharat Mall is also not behind, as it has fixed the schedule for 21 shows with most of 10 shows in Telugu, six in Hindi and five in Tamil. So also at Cinepolis at City Centre Mall on K S Rao Road here. They have finalised 20 shows with majority 10 in Telugu, seven in Hindi and three in Tamil.<br /><br />To a common query on response for advance bookings, the common reply was “We are full for tomorrow and have also allotted highest number of shows when compared to ‘Baahubali - The beginning.” <br /><br />When the maiden version was released, Cinepolis had 15 shows, while at Bharath, it was still less.<br /><br />If that was about multiplexes, not less than nine single screen theatres will be exhibiting the movie in four shows each in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, with one each of theatres in Mangaluru, Surathkal, Moodbidri, Belthangady and Sullia forming Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kundapura, Karkala and Byndoor forming Udupi district. Interestingly, all single screen theatres will be showing Telugu version <br />only. <br /><br />The only multiplex (Inox) in Udupi district is also screening the movie, according to film distributor Chandrappa who has bagged the distribution rights for undivided Dakshina Kannada district apart from Shivamogga region.<br /> <br /></p>
