Home minister visits Siddaganga Mutt, says seer stable

Home Minister M B Patil and Pejwar Mutt seer Vishwesha Theertha Swami visited Siddaganga Mutt and inquired about the health of Shivakumara swami, on Tuesday.

Patil who came to the mutt with his wife, inquired about Swamiji’s health. Later he addressed the media and said: “I went into the room where Swamiji is being treated and had darshan. I spoke to the doctors also. He is doing well and there is no cause for anxiety.”

Pejwar seer, who visited the mutt in the morning said that swamiji was asleep when he went to see him. He added that the seer was stable.

Dr Paramesh, the managing director of Siddaganga Hospital, who spoke to the media in the morning said that the seer’s health was better compared to Monday. Diagnostic tests are being conducted at 5 in the morning and tests have confirmed that infection has come down.
