Support to Anna Hazare continues in Chikmagalur

The students of Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology took out a procession from the college campus and culminated at Azad Maidan on the occasion. The students urged the government to implement Jan Lokpal Bill.

They urged the government to take measures to bring back black money from the foreign countries and declare it as public property.

The members of CPM, Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha, Hasiru Sene staged a dharna in front of Hanumanthappa Circle. They also submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner on the occasion.

They said the Jan Lokpal Bill should bring Prime Minister and Judiciary under its ambit. Indian parliamentary system should be strengthened. Transparency should be the buzz word in administration, they said. CPI district secretary B Amjad, taluk secretary George Austin, and others were present.

Supporting the cause of Anna Hazare, the members of Kannada Sene staged protest in the city. They urged the UPA government ministers to tender resignation having unable to fulfil the demands of Anna Hazare.
