Three people were killed on the spot in an accident that occurred at Gajalabavi village, Mulabagilu taluk, Kolar in the wee hours of Saturday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Bhaskar (35) of Sunnakuppam, Parvatamma (38) and Gowramma (40).
Narayanappa, Shankaramma, Krishnamurthy and Shankarappa have been injured the mishap.
Police said all those involved in the accident belong to the same family and were travelling in goods autorickshaw after offering prayers at the Shani temple.
Those hurt have been admitted to a hospital in Kolar and are said to be out of danger.
