Eid-ul-fitr on June 16

The moon sighting committee convenor Moulana Sagheer Ahmed Khan on Thursday said that Eid-Ul-Fitr would be celebrated on June 16.

The committee, which met here, took this decision as the moon was not sighted anywhere. However, it will be celebrated on Friday in the coastal districts of the state. The state government has already declared a holiday on Saturday.
