JOIN USKendriya Vidyalaya-2 organised 48th Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan (KVS) National Sports Meet Shooting & Skating (Girls) 2017-18 commenced here on Thursday.
About 50 girls from 38 schools across 18 regions, Under-17 and Under-19, are participating in both inline and quad races.
The race was conducted at B S Yeddyurappa Marg.
Twin races
The race included 3,000 meters inline and quad and 5,000 meters inline and quad.
Under-17 Inline Road Race: Karuna Singh, Chennai Region came first, RV Ramyasree, Bhubneshwar , second, Nikita, Hyderabad, third, Under-19 Inline Road Race:
Shravani, Hyderabad, first, Suruthi Singh, Chennai, second, Suhani Solanke, Mumbai third.
Under-17 Quad Road Race: Pujitha, Chennai, first, Nathsha, Chennai second, Divya, Jammu, third. Under-19 Quad Road Race: B Svedha, Chennai, first, Disha Sharma, Agra, second, Kanisha, Jammu, third.
