JOIN USHe was speaking at the valedictory of 18th annual summer sports meet organised by Department of Physical Education, University of Mysore in Mysore on Wednesday.
Besides, he also told students to give importance to extracurricular activities along with their studies.
Speaking on the occasion, Registrar (Exams), University of Mysore B Ramu informed the students and athletes to utilise the summer camp organised by the Department of Physical Education for their benefit. As many as 800 persons participated in the summer sports meet.
Industrialist Basavanna, cricketer Charan, badminton player Sejal, Director of the Physical Education Department Krishna, Assistant Director Dr P Krishnaiah, cricket trainer Dr Mansoor Ahmad and others were present.

The executive committee meeting of Hassan Jilla Balaga, Mysore is organised on May 20 at 6 pm in Maharani’s Government Institute of Teachers Training on Narayanashastry road.
Persons belonging to Hassan district who settled in Mysore are requested to register their names, according to the release issued from B G Rangegowda.
Remembering Rajiv
The District Rural and City Congress Unit has organised a programme to observe 20th death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi on May 21 at District Congress Office on Sayyaji Rao road in city.
In a press release, the unit president C Dasegowda informed that Leader in the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah, MLA V Srinivasprasad, MP H Vishwanath, Mayor Pushpalatha T B Chikkanna, MLAs Tanveer Sait, Satyanarayana, former MLA M K Somashekhar and others will be present on the occasion.
