<p>Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday clarified that there was no proposal to advance the Karnataka Assembly elections.</p>.<p>This was a reaction to KPCC president D K Shivakumar’s claim that BJP leaders in Delhi had spoken to Bommai about early elections <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/state/hubballi-dharwad/bjp-planning-to-prepone-assembly-elections-in-pretext-of-covid-says-d-k-shivakumar-1174105.html" target="_blank">citing the Covid-19 pandemic</a>.</p>.<p>Bommai ruled out any such talks with the Delhi leaders.</p>
