Akash Rao of Koppa Government Pre-university College is the topper in the district in second PUC Science stream. He has scored 583 marks for 600 (97%).
He has scored 100 in Sanskrit, 93 in English, 95 in Physics, 99 in Chemistry, 97 in Biology and 99 in Mathematics. He is the son of Kammaradi High School Teacher Gopalakrishna Rao and Nagarathnamani.
Speaking to DH, he said, “Hard work helped me to excel. Our teachers were very supportive and they conducted special classes to clear our doubts”.
