<p class="bodytext">Youth wings of Congress and JD(S) flagged off ‘Modi Yuvajana Virodhi Jatha’ in Madikeri on Friday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Inaugurating the jatha, High Court lawyer Ananta Naika said that the Narendra Modi led Central government has gifted unemployment to the youth of the nation. Therefore, the youth must teach a lesson to Modi.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He also alleged that Pratap Simha is unreachable to the people of his constituency. Simha has failed to bring any major schemes of the Central government to the district.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Naika meanwhile criticised that Pratap Simha should write about the RSS mafia in his columns.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Youth JD(S) district unit president P L Vishwa predicted the victory of the Congress-JD(S) coalition in the election.</p>.<p class="bodytext">District Congress committee President K K Manjunath Kumar, MLC Veena Acchaiah and Hanif Sampaje of Youth Congress district committee were present.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Earlier, as the permission was not granted by the city police station, to carry out the jatha, the programme which was supposed to take-off at the city old bus stand at 10 am, started at 12.30 pm.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The workers who were expecting the jatha publicity vehicle had to wait under the scorching sun. The jatha kicked-off after the permission was granted by the police station.</p>
