‘Modi’s regime has record job losses’

Youth wings of Congress and JD(S) flagged off ‘Modi Yuvajana Virodhi Jatha’ in Madikeri on Friday.

Inaugurating the jatha, High Court lawyer Ananta Naika said that the Narendra Modi led Central government has gifted unemployment to the youth of the nation. Therefore, the youth must teach a lesson to Modi.

He also alleged that Pratap Simha is unreachable to the people of his constituency. Simha has failed to bring any major schemes of the Central government to the district.

Naika meanwhile criticised that Pratap Simha should write about the RSS mafia in his columns.

Youth JD(S) district unit president P L Vishwa predicted the victory of the Congress-JD(S) coalition in the election.

District Congress committee President K K Manjunath Kumar, MLC Veena Acchaiah and Hanif Sampaje of Youth Congress district committee were present.

Earlier, as the permission was not granted by the city police station, to carry out the jatha, the programme which was supposed to take-off at the city old bus stand at 10 am, started at 12.30 pm.

The workers who were expecting the jatha publicity vehicle had to wait under the scorching sun. The jatha kicked-off after the permission was granted by the police station.
