Television channels have been broadcasting news on JD(S) leaders daily. The TV channels may be getting their TRP only because of JD(S) leaders, said Tourism Minister Sa Ra Mahesh.
Speaking near Ibnii resort on Sunday, he said that H D Kumaraswamy had stayed at the resort only to have his personal space. But some media have been telecasting some meaningless news. In Ibnii resort, a single cottage costs Rs 14,000, after concession. The rates can be confirmed online. But, some news channels have been showing imaginary rates, only to exaggerate the incident.
Sa Ra Mahesh meanwhile said that BJP leaders too go to resorts during election campaigns and the disgraceful comments by veteran politician Govind Karjol are unfortunate. The present coalition government is functioning better than the earlier BJP government in the state.
