Congress president Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to arrive in Bengaluru on October 13, his second visit to Karnataka, ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

According to sources, Rahul is expected to take part in a discussion with HAL workers in continuation of his campaign against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Rafale deal. Rahul has accused the BJP-led Centre that the Rafale deal favoured a private company over the state-owned HAL.

Rahul is also slated to address a meeting of the party workers.

AICC general secretary incharge of Karnataka K C Venugopal and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Dinesh Gundu Rao on Tuesday held talks with incumbent and former party legislators from Bengaluru to plan Rahul’s visit.

Rahul came to Karnataka last on August 13 in Bidar where he addressed the Janadhwani rally.
