The JD(S) leaders have appealed to the people of Hassan to bury the differences and work unitedly for the victory of JD(S)-Congress coalition candidate Prajwal Revanna.

It was a show of strength by the leaders at a party workers meeting in the city on Wednesday. They appealed to the voters to keep the BJP at bay and vote for the successor of Deve Gowda and join hands for the development of the district.

PWD Minister H D Revanna and his wife Bhavani have been touring all parts of the district, seeking support for their son and candidate Prajwal.

“Prajwal is like your son. The coalition parties are fighting unitedly to keep the communal forces away. The alliance parties would win 25 out of 28 Lok Sabha seats. We will participate in a campaign at Mysuru, Mandya, Tumakuru and North Karnataka. Narendra Modi will not become Prime Minister for a second time,” Revanna said.

He explained the failures of the Union government over the last five years in developing the district and highlighted the contributions of the State government for the welfare of the district and the people. “Prajwal would file nominations on March 22 at 12.05 pm. The procession will begin at 9 am,” he said.

Zilla Panchayat member Bhavani Revanna appealed to the people and help Prajwal win the polls.
