The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has reportedly found an unedited video clipping of the CD which was released and uploaded on social media.

The video recording, said to be more than a one-and-half-hour-long, has been retrieved from one of the devices they have seized in the past.

The video recording is also being analysed by the cybercrime and forensic science laboratory (FSL) officials. The officials have also taken the mobile phone of former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi on Wednesday and have sent it to FSL.

According to SIT sources, the video recording, which is allegedly made in one of the buildings in Yeshwanthpur, has been found. "We are going to seize all the devices that are required for the investigation of the case. It may be the mobile phone of the complainant or others. We are following the standard procedures according to the law. Our team is investigating the case without any pressure or any kind of influence," a senior officer said.

The officials have learnt that a hidden camera was fixed in the vanity bag of the woman and the private moments have been captured in it. With this, the SIT team has found major evidence in the case.

The SIT officials have also found that the woman has spoken to one of the kingpins, a media person expert in digital and cyber skills and informed him that the work is done. The officials are now suspecting that the video clip may be an organised honey trap.

Soon after activist Dinesh Kallahalli filed a complaint with an edited video clip, the same became viral on social media. Ramesh Jarkiholi was questioned two times by the SIT and he told the officials it was a fake clipping.

The officials had conducted a search in a private advertisement agency in Sheshadripuram, they also conducted searches on the suspect kingpin residences, a granite businessman's house and they had seized some devices from these places.

The SIT officials are now probing who is re-recording the video of the woman and releasing it to media persons.
