Acer unveils Super ZX, ZX Pro series phones in India

Acer's new mobiles --Super ZX and Super ZX Pro- will be available for purchase on Amazon from next week in India.

Indkal Technologies Pvt Ltd, the sole licensee of the Acer brand, has launched the Super ZX, the company's first smartphone series in India.

Acer's new mobile comes in two variants- Super ZX and Super ZX Pro.

The standard Super ZX comes with a 6.8-inch full HD+ LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and IP50 dust-and-water splash resistant rating.

It features MediaTek 6300 octa-core processor, Android OS, 8GB RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charger.

It also boasts of triple-camera module-- main 64MP (with Sony LYTIA sensor) with 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera with LED flash on the back. On the front, it houses 13MP camera.

The top-end Super ZX Pro sports a 6.7-inch full HD AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, in-display fingerprint sensor and IP64 water-and-dust resistant rating.

It runs Android 15 OS with MediaTek Dimensity 7400 octa-core chipset, 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charger.

It also boasts a triple-camera module-- main 50MP (with Sony IMX882 sensor, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation), 5MP ultra-wide angle sensor and 2MP macro camera with LED flash on the back. And, a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

The new Acer Super ZX and ZX Pro prices start at Rs 9,990 and 17,990, respectively.

Indkal Technologies Pvt Ltd, which also sells Acer smart TVs will soon offer Acer-branded mobiles on Amazon from April 25 onwards in India.
