<p><a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/instagram">Instagram</a> has announced the launch of 'Edits', a standalone mobile app to edit videos for content creators.</p><p>With the free-to-use 'Edits' app, users will be able to edit up to 10-minute video footage.</p><p>It also offers the option to export videos from another device to the iPhone and after editing, he/she can share the video up to 1080p (full HD) on any social media platform including Instagram.</p><p>While using Edits, users can adjust camera settings for resolution, framerate and dynamic range, flash light and zoom controls.</p>.Instagram extends Reels duration from 90 seconds to 3 minutes.<p>Also, it has several video templates including the Artificial Intelligence-powered animation to enhance the video content.</p><p>There is an option to change the background with a green screen or add a video overlay.</p>.<p>Users can choose from a variety of fonts, sound and voice effects, video filters, stickers and more to further enhance the video.</p><p>To improve the audio quality, there is a dedicated feature to make voices clearer and remove background noise.</p><p>And, it can also auto-generate captions. Users can even customize how they appear in the video as well.</p><p>"Edits is more than a video editing app, it’s a full suite of creative tools. There will be a dedicated tab for inspiration, another to keep track of any early ideas you might have, a much higher quality camera which I used to record this video, all the editing tools you’d expect, the ability to share drafts with friends and other creators, and, if you decide to share your videos on Instagram, powerful insights on how those videos do," said Adam Mosseri, CEO, Instagram.</p><p>For now, only the iOS version of the Edits app is available to pre-order on Apple App Store.
