Kyiv says US peace talks off to 'good start' in 'warm atmosphere'

Kyiv: Talks between US and Ukrainian officials on ending Russia's war with Ukraine got off to a "good start" and are taking place in a "warm atmosphere," Ukraine's first deputy foreign minister said on Sunday.

"It's been a good start of the ongoing meeting. Very engaging and so far constructive. Warm atmosphere, conducive to potential progressive outcome," wrote Sergiy Kyslytsya on X, praising US Secretary of State Marco Rubio's "great leadership".
