Russia denies orchestrating Vilnius IKEA arson, calls accusation 'Russophobia'

Moscow: Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Thursday dismissed accusations that Russia was behind an arson attack on an IKEA store in Vilnius as baseless and driven by Russophobia.

On Monday Lithuanian prosecutors accused Russia's military intelligence of orchestrating the arson attack in May and suggested it may have been targeted because the chain's logo uses the same colours as Ukraine's flag.

"They need to see a doctor. Russophobia is a disease and a diagnosis," Zakharova said.
