Veer Savarkar betrayed Mahatma Gandhi: Rahul Gandhi

After Rahul Gandhi’s comments on Veer Savarkar created controversy, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi repeated his criticism of Veer Savarkar on November 17 and said Savarkar betrayed leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Patel by signing the letter out of fear. “Savarkar Ji wrote in the letter - I beg to remain, sir, your most obedient servant. When he signed this letter, what was the reason? It was fear. He was afraid of the British,” Rahul Gandhi said.
