The Bantwal police arrested five persons for disrupting police personnel from discharging their duties in Bantwal.
The arrested are Jithesh (31), Vikesh (27), Austin (23), Arvin (21) and Aldrin (18). When traffic ASI Manjula and staff were checking vehicles, they saw a car with tinted glass and the driver not wearing seat belt. When she asked the car driver to stop the car, all those who were in the car abused her and her colleagues and also prevented them from discharging their duties.
A case has been registered under IPC Sections 143, 147, 353, 504, and 149.
