<p> A 19-year-old woman, who hails from Nepal, was kidnapped and then gang raped in south Delhi on Wednesday night, police said.<br /><br /></p>.<p>She was found in half-naked and semi-conscious condition near Nanakpura flyover in south Delhi around 7.30 am on Thursday.<br /><br />The victim was rushed to Safdarjung Hospital where she is being treated – and is still under the influence of the drugs given to her by the men who assaulted her.<br /><br />Statement<br /><br />In her statement to police, she said she is married and has been living with her husband in Kotla Mubarkpur for the last two years.<br /><br />She works as maid and her husband is a waiter in a restaurant. Three days ago she had a fight with her husband, and had been upset over it. On Wednesday evening, she left for her brother’s house in Chirag Dilli.<br /><br />She found the house locked. As she was not carrying a mobile phone with which she could not call her brother, she just waited outside for him to return.<br /><br />“After waiting there till 10 pm, she decided to go back to her own house. While she was walking through the lanes of Chirag Dilli, she lost her way to the main road. So she approached a man sitting in a parked car,” police said, quoting her statement.<br />The man offered her a lift, saying she would get confused if she tried to make her own way to the main road.<br /><br />After she had got in, the man started the car and then called up someone whom he asked to come in front of a house.<br /><br />After a few minutes, the car stopped in front of a house and a man got into the back seat. <br /><br />When they reached the main road, the driver asked her where she was heading. He said he too was going that side and would drop her.<br /><br />But instead of Kotla Mubarkpur, he drove towards Vasant Vihar. Scared, she questioned them about this. The men said they will drop her after picking up another friend from Vasant Vihar.<br /><br />After picking their third friend, they offered her some water. She was semi-conscious after drinking it.<br /><br />The woman told police that she was then taken to a guest house in Gurgaon, where the men took turns to rape her. Then they dumped her at an abandoned spot, with bushes all around, in Dhaula Kuan.<br /><br />She managed to stumble down to the main road and got into an autorickshaw.<br />She told police she was barely conscious and her clothes were torn. Seeing this, the auto driver dropped her near a tea stall at Nanakpura where she sat till 5 am.<br /><br />A passerby then made a call to police around 7 am. A case of gang rape and abduction was registered at Malviya Nagar police station. An NGO has been roped in to counsel her.<br /></p>
