<p>Director K M Chaitanya’s latest venture, Parari, which means escape, has been released and he confesses that film has exceeded his expectations. The film, says Chaitanya, is about boys trying to be men and it has a youthful feel to it.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The story draws inspiration from a real-life incident and is based on something that happened to one of Chaitanya’s friends. He developed the story further and it turned out to be quite interesting.<br /><br />“The film has three boys and three girls. If you notice, all boys try to be men and often get into a lot of trouble with their parents, principals and sometimes even the cops. But they never seem to learn their lesson and continue with the same antics,” observes Chaitanya. <br /><br />He adds, “It is a generation that is escaping from reality, day-dreaming, running away all the time. The lead characters in the film are below 25 years and each have their unique trait.” Chaitanya points out that girls, although the same age as the boys, are more mature. “Even when I was in college, I noticed that the girls were always more mature and hardly got into any trouble. This movie has plenty of instances like that,” he adds. <br /><br />Chaitanya believes that movies are made to entertain people rather than send out a strong message. “A film should entertain people and not give you a message. People can take as many messages as they want from the film,” he observes. <br /><br />The cast comprises Shrunga, a theatre actor; Shravanth, a popular film and television actor; Bullet Prakash; Shubha Punja, who plays the lead; and Jahnavi Kamath, a newcomer. Chaitanya confesses that working with young actors has brought back memories of his days in college and in theatre.<br /><br /></p>
