It sports 16-inch 2560×1600 IPS panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and full sRGB coverage.

It is vuilt with a sleek metal chassis and features an optional RGB light bar and a HyperX-inspired per-key RGB keyboard—both fully customizable via OMEN Light Studio. It will be available in Ceramic White and Shadow Black options.

It is equipped with Intel’s 24-core Ultra 9-275HX processor and NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 GPU. It comes with 64GB of DDR5 RAM (5600MT/s) and a 1TB PCIe 5.0 SSD.

With CPU and GPU combined, it can draw power of over 250W (75W CPU + 175W GPU), supported by a dual fan cooling system to deliver smooth lag-free performance be it video editing or running generative Artificial Intelligence (gen AI)-based applications or playing graphics-rich gaming.

The thermal setup includes heat pipes, a vapor chamber covering 61 per cent of the motherboard, and a hybrid liquid metal compound, which improves heat transfer compared to traditional thermal paste.

The laptop also features customisable RGB lighting and an optional RGB light bar, both fully adjustable via OMEN Light Studio, players can synchronize their device&#39;s aesthetics with their unique gaming style. Additionally, for security, the Omen Max 16 has a Full HD IR camera for Windows Hello login, along with a physical privacy shutter.

In India, The Omen Max 16 gaming laptop is available for starting price of Rs 3,09,999 in Shadow Black colour.

Apple-owned Beats launched new line of braided cables for tablets, mobiles, computers and cameras.

It comes in USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C, and USB-C to Lightning options. Beats cables are made with a tangle-free woven design for increased durability and to prevent fraying.

The cables are available in two lengths—1.5 meters and 20 centimeters (8 inches)—for both stationary and portable use.

The USB-A to USB-C is designed for charging, syncing, CarPlay, and transferring data. Fast charging can reach up to 15 watts on select iPhone and iPad models, and data can be transferred at USB 2.0 rates.

Whereas the USB-C to USB-C supports fast charging up to 60 watts and can transfer data at USB 2.0 rates. For fast, efficient charging, pair the USB-C cable with a USB-C power adapter and conveniently charge compatible devices from a wall outlet.

It comes in four colours-Bolt Black, Surge Stone, Nitro Navy, and Rapid Red—at Rs 1,900 for a single cable and Rs 3,500 for a pack of two.

With the new AI-powered remote diagnostic and troubleshooting tool, Samsung technicians will be able to resolve issues faster, reducing the need for cumbersome in-home visits. This innovative technology not only enhances customer experience with rapid resolutions and reduced downtime.

Home Appliances Remote Management (HRM) tool enables real-time issue resolution with remote counselling, monitoring, and control features for Samsung smart appliances registered on the SmartThings app.

For the uninitiated, SmartThings is a customer-facing app, which works as an appliance operating tool and captures usage patterns.

When a customer contacts Samsung’s support team regarding an issue with their home appliance, the HRM system automatically detects the registered device’s model and serial number through Samsung’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management system). Upon activation, contact center advisors can remotely diagnose, monitor, and even control certain appliance functions post customer consent, providing immediate troubleshooting guidance.

CMF Phone 2 Pro to come with triple-camera module

Nothing's subsidiary CMF is scheduled to unveil the new Phone 2 Pro later this month on April 28 in India.

Ahead of the launch, the company has confirmed that the new device will come with triple-camera module. It will feature a powerful 50MP telephoto lens, a high-performance main sensor, and an ultra-wide camera. The CMF Phone 2 Pro’s telephoto camera comes with a 2x optical zoom, a first in the budget segment. It promises to deliver high-quality magnification with preserved detail and sharpness.

Furthermore, the CMF Phone 2 Pro boasts a 50MP Main camera with a 1/1.57-inch sensor - the largest in the segment. Lastly, the triple camera system is completed only by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 119.5-degree field of view.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is confirmed to come with new Media Dimensity 7300 PRO chipset, faster and powerful than the predecessor.

It can deliver improved performance in terms of 10 per cent faster CPU, and up to five per cent graphics improvement as compared to CMF Phone 1.

Further, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 PRO promises to offer better gaming experience with 120 Frames Per Second (FPS) on BGMI, more than 53 per cent network boost and 1000 Hz touch sampling rate.

Nothing's co-founder Akis Evangelidis also revealed that the CMF Phone 1 Pro will come with free cover case with the retail box along with charger.

CMF Phone 2 Pro internally called as Bulbasaur (a Pokemon character-baed codename) is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display.

It also said to feature a brushed metal-like matte finish on the back panel and run Android 15-based NothingOS 3.0 OS.

Besides the new Phone 2 Pro, CMF has confirmed to launch Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus this month-end. They will be available on Flipkart and authorised retails across in India.
