Technology companies Samsung, Epson, Blaupunkt, Portronics, Panasonic and others launched smartphones, security cameras, portable tyre inflators, earphonesm, accessories, and more this week (December 9-15, 2024).

These devices ensure uninterrupted performance with continuous and reliable patch management, stable device availability and consistent OS version updates.
They come packed with all the Galaxy AI features such as Live Translate, Interpreter, Note Assist and Circle to Search with Google, these designed-for-business devices prioritise defence-grade security, extended product lifecycle and enhanced long-term support. Epson ColorWorks CW-C8050 High-Speed 4-inch Color Inkjet Label Printer.

This particular model is best suited for businesses. Unlike traditional cartridge-based systems, CW-C8050 utilizes high-yield ink packs, with each set delivering a total of 1.9 litres of ink capacity which can print up to 3,000 labels per day. This enables businesses to reduce costs and eliminates the need for large stocks of pre-printed labels, while also reducing manual intervention and increasing productivity.

The company is offering an Artificial Intelligence-enabled High Zoom Bullet Camera and an X-series Camera with AI-based On-site Learning analytics.
The AI-enabled High Zoom Bullet Camera features 10x and 30x zoom options, available in 2MP, 5MP, and 4K resolutions, with long-range IR LED capabilities up to 250m/820ft for optimal performance in low-light conditions. These cameras are equipped with AI-driven object detection using the Ambarella CV52 SoC, offering enhanced object detection.
The i-PRO Active Guard intelligent search application is integrated with various metadata describing the unique attributes of humans and vehicles and is seamlessly delivered to popular Video Management Systems (VMS).
Additionally, four LPR-optimized models capture objects at high speeds (up to 130 km/h) during the day or night. Bengaluru’s Dayananda Sagar University joins OPPO India’s ‘Generation Green’ initiative.

Under the programme, OPPO India, in collaboration with the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Dayananda Sagar University will educate students from more than 10 colleges and schools, and citizens from neighbouring villages, about the increasing challenge of electronic waste management and the need for effective disposal for a sustainable future. To mark the occasion, an e-waste awareness drive was organised at the University’s campus today where over 300 students engaged in awareness activities, such as Nukkad Nataks, Ideathon, and fashion show where e-waste was used as embellishments.
