<p>The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has launched RIBApix, the world’s biggest visual archive devoted to architecture from across the globe. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Established in 2005 by Robert Elwall with just 5,000 images, RIBApix has a collection of 90,000 digital architectural images today.<br /><br />Sourced from the British Architectural Library, the RIBApix content features the work of some of the world’s top architecture photographers, including Eric de Mare and Tony Ray-Jones. All the architectural photographs in RIBApix’s digital archive can be easily purchased or licensed through the RIBApix web shop for professional or personal use.<br /><br />The RIBApix collection includes ancient monuments and primitive rock dwellings to more modern structures such as hotels and social housing. <br /><br />The archive is well represented by allied subjects such as interior design, landscape, topography, planning, construction and the decorative arts. RIBApix also offers a digitisation-on-demand service.<br /><br /></p>
