<p>Vishwa Konkani Student Scholarship Fund (VKSSF), set up by World Konkani Centre, Mangaluru, has invited applications for Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships-2018 from Konkani-speaking students belonging to any caste and religion, seeking professional education in engineering and medical streams.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The mother tongue of the candidates should be Konkani compulsorily.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The candidates, who are seeking admission to the first year BE or MBBS course in 2018 may apply.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The candidates must have scored above 70% in SSLC and in the core subjects in PUC and also secured a ranking of 20,000 or below in the Common Entrance Test (CET) or qualifying Marks in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).</p>.<p class="bodytext">The total family income should be less than Rs 4.5 lakh per annum.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Candidates fulfilling the above criteria can apply online for the scholarships through www.vishwakonkani.org.
