Over 15.52 crore voters are expected to cast their votes in about 1.78 lakh polling stations as 95 constituencies are set to go to polls in the second phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections on Thursday.

This made the queue very long.Agitated by being unable to find their names in the list in the dark many people were being forced to return and come back later when there is power supply.

. The JD(S)party workers allegedly spoke in singular tense with a female voter pestering her to vote for JD(S). Things got ugly when BJP workers asked the female voter to vote for BJP. The tussle got so bad that the lady did not vote and the fight intensified. There was no police to control it. When the photographer started capturing the scene on camera the crowd started to thin out and escape. With all this, the BJP and JDs lost a vote.

. 34-year old B S Vani was unable to find her details. She and her husband have been searching her booth. The couple had changed their address and got it changed on the electoral also. While her husband Sukumar already cast his vote in Oxford school, Vani was unable to find hers. The App shows Govt Urdu primary school in Subedarpalya, Number 153 Yeshwanthpur assembly constituency, Bangalore north, but her details are not to be found their also.

. Prakash, 46, who has voted from the same part of Malleswaram for the last 25 years, found his name completely missing from the voter's list. In previous elections, his parents' names preceded his while his wife was entered just after his name on the list. This year, the others could vote while his name was missing and not to be found in either the deleted section or in the 2018 deleted list. This is not an isolated incident with many voters reporting similar experiences.

. At least 67.84% voters turned up at the polling stations as 95 constituencies in 11 States and one Union Territory went to the polls in the second phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections on Thursday.

. The fierce, high-decibel election to the 14 Lok Sabha constituencies of Karnataka witnessed an estimated voter turnout of 66.21% in the first phase on Thursday. Polling was largely peaceful except for stray incidents of violence and large-scale complaints of missing names in the electoral rolls.
