15 artists win prizes at NDMC fest

Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung inaugurated an exhibition ‘Down the Memory Lane: New Delhi Then and Now’ organised by the New Delhi Municipal Council at All India Fine Art and Craft Society on Marg on Tuesday. 

Jung, accompanied by NDMC chairperson Jalaj Shrivastava took a round of the exhibition. 

He assured the artists that the Delhi government will extend all possible help to them. Jung gave away prizes to 15 artists who were selected from among 800 entries. 

The paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs were on the theme ‘100 years of New Delhi’. The exhibition is open for public viewing till May 2.
