<p>South Korean electronics major Samsung Thursday unveiled Galaxy S5, its flagship Android phone, in India. Priced between Rs.51,000-Rs.53,000, it will be available in the market from April 11, a top company official said here.<br /><br /></p>.<p>"This smartphone is targeted at the working professionals with a hectic lifestyle and also at style-crazy people," Vineet Taneja, country head, IT and mobile division of Samsung India, told reporters on the sidelines of the launch.<br /><br />He said the actual price of the phone will be announced April 11. The pre-booking for the product will start from March 29.<br /><br />Talking about the price range of the phone, Taneja said the company will help customers finance it through affordable EMIs or buyback offers.<br /><br />The company now has 3.5 crore users of Galaxy devices in India.<br /><br />He said the phone is now 3G compatible but "when proper 4G network will be available in the country, we will be ready with the devices (4G compatible)."<br /><br />In India, the Galaxy S5 will be available in four colours - black, white, blue and gold. The phone with 5.1 inch display is waterproof and dustproof. It comes with 16 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera and has 21 hours talk time battery.<br /><br />Along with Galaxy S5, the company also released wearable lines - Galaxy Gear 2, Galaxy Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit.<br /><br />Galaxy Gear 2 has been priced at Rs.21,900 while Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit are priced at Rs.15,900.<br /></p>
