<p>Two men have been arrested in south Delhi for possessing controlled substances worth Rs 1 crore which were to be illegally smuggled to Myanmar and China and sold at rave parties, police said on Saturday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Deepak Rastogi, 29, a resident of Palam Village, and Gurbachan Singh, 36, of R K Puram, were held on Friday evening and 150 kilograms of ephedrine and 18,000 strips each, 10 tablets of pseudoephedrine were recovered from their possession.<br /><br />“The consignment was to be sent to Myanmar and China via Manipur for preparing ecstasy and other narcotic drugs,” said Arun Kampani, deputy commissioner of police (special cell). <br /><br />The recovered substances were found positive for ephedrine, a psychotropic substance, under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. A case is registered under sections 9A, 22 and 25A of the NDPS Act.</p>
