<p>In a tragic incident, the wife of an unemployed drug addict in Lahore killed her two babies as she was unable to feed them for three days.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The depressed woman strangled her eight-month-old boy shortly after she had drowned her two-year-old daughter in a water tub Wednesday, The Nation reported Thursday<br />Bissma, 23, has confessed to the killings and has been apprehended by the police, along with her husband Sunny Khan.<br /><br />"Her husband was in deep slumber on the bed when she killed her kids in the attached bathroom," a police official was quoted as saying.<br /><br />She told the police that her children had not been fed for the last three days.<br />The murders came to light when, on being asked by her husband about the babies, she said: "It is not needed anymore. Kids have been silenced." <br /><br />The woman also told the police that Khan was a drug addict with no job and no earnings. Her father Muhammad Tahir, a scrap-dealer, was bearing her and her kids' expenses since her marriage.</p>
