<p>The chief conservator of forest has suspended the deputy range forest officer (RFO) of Balehole in connection with the assault on a forest watcher with regard to the signing of a document. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Deputy RFO M Veerabhadrappa Nayak Thotadoory had allegedly assaulted bear forest watcher Keerthan N R and the video of the assault had gone viral on social media. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Accusing Veerabhadrappa of assaulting him, Keerthan had filed a complaint to Kalasa RFO who in turn had submitted a report to the senior officials. </p>.<p class="bodytext">RFO Ravi said that Veerabhadrappa has been suspended and has been relieved from Balehole. The deputy RFO of Kalasa has been entrusted additional charge of Balehole.</p>
