'OVER for Blinkit, Zepto...': Bengaluru firm 'delivers humans' for 'advice' in minutes

We all have heard of and even ordered things from e-commerce sites like Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart that delivers at our address within minutes, be it grocery, food or even pick and drop of packages.

Now Bengaluru has a new service called Topmate who are "delivering humans".

"It's OVER for Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart," posted Nimisha Chanda on X, who is the marketing lead at Topmate.

As per the post, Topmate will "deliver humans" who can help the customers by giving them guidance.

"Because we’re not just delivering groceries in 10 minutes—we’re delivering humans.

Humans who can:

- Answer every question you throw at them

- Help you land your dream job

- Be your ultimate growth partners," the post further mentioned.

Topmate claims to offer instant access to experts and provide guidance with anything.

"No more guesswork. No more endless Google searches. Just instant access to experts who've been there, done that. With Guidance in 10 Minutes by Topmate," the post read.

The post has garnered over 161k views and a flurry of comments, with many amazed by this project.

"It seems like someone is right across the table to talk!! Interesting thought," a user commented.

"Interesting. However, when it comes to opinions - people first look for free ones. Unlike products," a second user said.

"How is this different than hiring a consultant?" questioned a third.

"'Referral in 10 minutes' is kinda sus. This is not how referrals are supposed to work," wrote a fourth.

Another user expressed how Topmate can't be compared to already existing e commerce companies. "The product is great in potential; however, I don't see it being comparable to Blinkit, Zepto or Instamart," they wrote.
