It had a 21 per cent stake in Hispano since 2005 and after the acquisition, Tata Motors will further strengthen the ongoing initiatives to improve operational efficiencies such as productivity improvement, cost reduction, new product development to improving market share of the company and enhance brand value, the company said in a release here. With the acquisition of residual shares by Tata Motors, Hispano will emerge as stronger force in Spanish as well as bus and coach markets.
