Muslim League senior leader and former Kerala minister Cherkala Abdulla passed away at his residence at Cherkala in Kasargod on Friday.
He was suffering from cardiac related problems. He was the Indian Union Muslim League state treasurer. He was elected as an MLA from Manjeshwar constituency four times and had served as the minister of municipal administration.
The last rites of Abdulla were performed at Mohiddin Jumma Masjid at Cherkala.
