Workers of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Karnataka, will stage a protest at Maurya Circle, Race Course Road, in the city on Saturday, condemning the hike in LPG prices and levy of cash handling charges by banks.
Addressing a press meet in the city on Friday, AAP co-convenor Shivakumar Chengalaraya said the price of crude oil was at its lowest in a decade, but the people were little benefited by it.
“In a historic rise, the LPG rates have been increased by Rs 86. Our party strongly condemns the move.” He said the hike in LPG prices had hit the common man, who was already reeling under the effects of the note ban.
