BU signs MoU with Lincoln University

The Bangalore University (BU) and Lincoln University, Malaysia, on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for five years subject to renewal for the further period.

Dr Amiya Bhaumik, VC Lincoln University and BU VC Venugopal KR signed the MoU.

“Inter-university research would be undertaken under the MoU leading to the award of PhD and faculty exchange programmes and international interest in the field of commerce and management.

"The main focus of this understanding is the enhancement of research values. This will help us improve our standards in the field of management, the most sought-after subject in the present day," BU vice-chancellor Venugopal KR told DH.

The collaboration also includes the student exchange programmes. International seminars will be held in both India and Malaysia.
