The Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) on Monday started producing metro cars for the Mumbai Metro.
The BEML has bagged a contract for manufacturing 63 six-car train sets for Mumbai Metro.
Deepak Kumar Hota, CMD of BEML, said the company would deliver the cars in time. "BEML is committed to supplying metro cars well within the schedule," he said.
