<p class="rtejustify">A 35-year-old homemaker died after being throttled in Bharathinagar, Chikkajala, North Bengaluru, on Thursday.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">Chandrakala was found murdered around 4.30 pm when her husband Srinivas, a barber, returned home. Srinivas called neighbours who helped him take his wife to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead. The Chikkajala police rushed to the spot after being informed and conducted inquiries. </p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">Police said there was no forced entry and suspect Ramesh, a family friend. They added that the assailant squeezed Chandrakala’s throat and snatched her gold chain, leaving a scar on the neck. </p>
