According to the schedule, the flight IT 2404 will take off from Bengaluru International Airport at 12 noon and arrive at Mysore airport at 12.45 pm. From Mysore, flight IT 2407 will depart at 2.20 pm and arrive at 3.10 pm in Bangalore.
Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, Chairman & MD, Kingfisher Airlines, Vijay Mallya and a host of other dignitaries are scheduled to fly on the inaugural flight from Bangalore to Mysore on Friday.
The flight will be a boon to people who want to visit Mysore to witness the annual Dasara extravaganza.
The new direct flight will facilitate passengers travelling from Mysore, a one-stop connection, to other destinations like Goa, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Pune, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Tiruvantapuram, Kochi and Mumbai via Bangalore.
