The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) will conduct a special revision of electoral rolls for four days in the city.

In a meeting with BBMP officials on Tuesday, Regional Commissioner Shivayogi C Kalasad decided to hold this drive to give people more time to include or change their names in the electoral rolls.

To be conducted between October 26 to 29, the booth level officers (BLOs) will visit all the houses across the 28 Assembly constituencies in the city to check if any revision is needed to the electoral roll.

All who have completed 18 years of age, as on January 1, 2018, will be eligible to enroll their names and addresses in the voter’s list. The voters can also check if their names are included in the draft electoral list that has been published on October 10, 2018.

The last date to revise the electoral rolls is November 30, 2018.
