As per a government order to this effect, the DA will go up from 46 per cent to 56.25 per cent. The DA arrears for three months, including September, will be paid in cash. The DA increase will be to the basic pay of the employees.
In actual terms, the salary will increase from a minimum of Rs 482 per month to maximum of Rs 3,200 per month.
