The second mega photo journalists exhibition featuring snapshots captured by Prashanth H G, Anurag Basavaraj, Sriram M A, S R Madhusudhan, Nagesh Panathale and Hampa Nagaraj was inaugurated at Suchitra Gallery in Kalamandira on Thursday. It will remain open till October 17 between 10 am and 10 pm.

Tigers prowling in  the forests  for its prey, birds playing with each other in the air, Asian elephant in all its grandeur, a peacock proudly displaying its feathers say a thousand words to every visitor at the exhibition. The photographs  show the keen eye of the lensmen behind the camera looking just for a split of a second to take a perfect shot forever. The royal Amba Vilas Palace, the busy K R circle teeming with vehicles at night, the reflections of jumbos carrying a replica of the Golden Howdah, speak a volume the efforts of lensmen.
Birds carrying their meal in their beaks, tigers resting in the shade, leopard resting on a boulder devoid of all worries encapsulate the life of animals.

Also featured are an old woman breaking a stone with a hammer, while her granddaughter dresses in a school uniform, shows the transformation that the country is silently going through. Another photograph that captivates the visitors are trees which are cut right in front of a board which says trees are the wealth of the nation. The exhibition was inaugurated by Suttur Mutt Seer, Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and District In-Charge Minister S A Ramdas.
