ATME joins league of engineering colleges

Dream come true for a group of engineers to open educational institution

He was speaking at the dedication of administrative and first year academic block of Association for Technical and Management Excellence (ATME), an engineering college on Mysore- Bannur road on the outskirts.

Ramdas said, the only memorable day in the life of the engineers nowadays is ‘date of joining and retirement’.

Listing the contributions of Sir M V, Ramdas said apart from constructing KRS, the engineering genius was also instrumental in founding State Bank of Mysore, Mysore Sandal Soap factory, Mysore Silk and Bhadravathi Iron and Steel Factory’. Ramdas appealed to the students to develop four other Qs apart from IQ as there is a rising demand for students both within the nation and also abroad. He termed 20 to 25 years of age as a golden period and urged the students to make judicious use of the talent.
Chairman of the ATME board L Arun Kumar said it was a dream come true for a group of engineers who were nursing plans to open an educational institution, from the past several years.

Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra inaugurated the blocks. Vice-principal, Dr Syed  Shakeeb-ur-Rahman, trustees MLC Prof K R Mallikarjunappa, Ashokumar, Shivashankar and others were present.
