Rly staff hurt in stone throwing

   A guard, Janardhan, was hurt when someone threw stones on Hosur-Yeshwantpur Passenger train on the stretch between Banaswadi and Hebbal in the morning.

In another case, Assistant loco pilot P Sajeevan was injured when stones were thrown on the Jaipur-Mysore Express between Kengeri and Hejjala on Wednesday afternoon.

A complaint has been registered with the Railway police. An employee of the Railways said that similar incidents had occurred on the same routes three months ago, but had decreased after the Railway police had stepped in to provide protection.
